Account Executive

📍 Locations: Virginia - Remote with Local Travel (Future Hybrid with Travel and/or Future Onsite with travel).

➕ Position Type: Full Time, Salary + Commission

 

The Account Executive is responsible for business development, solution-based selling, estimating, marketing support, and assisting with the pursuit of contract vehicles. This role manages the full sales cycle and collaborates closely with leadership to expand Security Logistics’ footprint across multiple markets.

Ideal candidates will have experience in security integration, AV, telecommunications, IT networking, structured cabling, or related technology industries.

 

Duties And Responsibilities

  • Business Development & Sales

    • Identify and generate new business through prospecting, networking, cold outreach, and partnerships

    • Build and manage a strong sales pipeline across commercial and government/contract sectors

    • Conduct needs assessments, site visits, and client meetings to develop tailored solutions

    • Present integrated low-voltage and security offerings such as structured cabling, access control, CCTV, intrusion, AV, cabling, and network systems

    • Prepare proposals, quotes, competitive bids, and RFP responses

    • Manage the full sales cycle—from lead qualification to proposal delivery and closing deals

    • Assist leadership with strategic sales planning and growth initiatives

  • Estimating & Solution Design

    • Review drawings, project specs, scopes of work, and RFP requirements

    • Create accurate estimates, BOMs, and labor pricing

    • Coordinate with project managers, engineering, and field teams to ensure accurate scoping

    • Maintain strong product knowledge across multiple technology manufacturers

  • Marketing Support & Brand Growth

    • Support development of marketing materials, case studies, and sales collateral

    • Assist with social media content, promotional campaigns, trade shows, and networking events

    • Collaborate with leadership to enhance brand visibility in target verticals

    • Provide feedback for website updates, digital marketing strategies, and customer engagement tools

  • Contract Vehicles & Prequalification Support

    • Help research, identify, and pursue new contract vehicles (local, state, federal, cooperative purchasing, GPOs, etc.)

    • Assist with vendor registrations, application requirements, and qualification packages

    • Coordinate with internal teams to maintain up-to-date documentation, certifications, and compliance materials

  • Customer Relationship Management

    • Build lasting relationships with new and existing clients

    • Identify upsell and recurring service opportunities

    • Manage follow-up tasks and maintain accurate CRM records

  • Other Sales & Administrative Duties

    • Attend internal training, team meetings, and manufacturer education sessions

    • Support company growth initiatives and special projects as requested

    • Perform additional duties as assigned by management

 

Requirements and Qualifications

  • Required

    • Experience in low-voltage, structured cabling, electronic security, IT networking, telecom, or related technology sales

    • Strong communication, presentation, and customer relationship skills

    • ​Excellent organizational skills with a master-level inquisitive mindset

    • Ability to understand technical concepts and translate them into customer solutions

    • Proven time management and self-driven work habits

    • Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation

  • Preferred

    • Experience in low-voltage, security, structured cabling,  IT networking, telecom, AV, or related technology business development and or sales

    • Strong communication skills & ability to understand technical solutions

    • Self-motivated and organized with strong follow-up habits

    • Valid driver’s license required

    • 2+ Years Business Development and Sales Experience in the low-voltage industry

    • Experience estimating or designing low-voltage system solutions

    • Familiarity with Bluebeam, Procore, or CRM platforms a plus

    • Industry and manufacture certifications (Axis, Hanwha, Lenel, Avigilon, Genetec, BICSI, etc.)

    • Experience working with contract vehicles or government procurement a plus

    • Existing industry contacts in the Virginia region a plus

Low Voltage Lead Technician

➕ Position Type: Full-time

 

The Low Voltage Lead Technician will supervise, plan, and perform low voltage system installations, service, maintenance, troubleshooting, and training with a primary focus on installations. Low voltage systems include but not limited to structured cabling systems, access control systems, burglar alarm systems, video surveillance systems, audiovisual systems, and other low voltage systems.

 

Duties And Responsibilities

  • Providing supervision and leadership to on-site technicians to ensure all corporate quality and business goals are achieved.

  • Complete all internal documentation relating to project administration and supervisory responsibilities in a timely manner.

  • Performing as a direct liaison between Security Logistics and clientele. Communicate changes and results to management in a timely manner;

  • Test, troubleshoot, and perform necessary corrections to security systems.

  • Knowledge in connector termination for related technology as required for all aspects of a security system installation and servicing.

  • Knowledge and ability in mechanical retrofitting of door frames and gates for electronic lock devices.

  • Knowledge and ability to train onsite personnel in the installation of numerous low-voltage systems.

  • Knowledge of structured cabling installation, security, AV, and other low voltage systems a plus. 

  • Must have the ability to recognize and provide immediate solutions for onsite changes in system installation in the construction of buildings from start to closure.

  • Must be process-oriented, with good communication and organizational skills.

  • Must have an understanding of the construction process, timeline management, utilizing work packages, and budget tracking.

  • Must be able to read and understand drawings and equipment schematics.

  • Must be able to work independently and resolve problems for our customers and managements satisfaction.

  • The potential to perform off-hour work and be assigned to an on-call rotation may be required.

  • Provide direction and leadership for system installations.

  • Other duties as assigned.

Requirements and Qualifications

  • High school diploma or state-recognized equivalent.

  • Industry certifications or technical school training desired.

  • Prior troubleshooting experience is a plus.

  • ​Excellent organizational skills with a master-level inquisitive mindset.

  • DCJS certification or the ability to obtain and maintain is required.

  • At least three (3) to five (5) years of running low voltage system projects.

  • Capable of installing, maintaining, and servicing some if not all low voltage systems mentioned above.

  • Ability to climb ladders, stand for extended periods, work extended hours, and travel independently.

  • Must have the ability to operate hand and power tools and should have his own tools as an installer.

  • Must have the ability to communicate and provide excellent customer service.

  • Must have and maintain a valid state driver’s license with a clean driving record for the last three (3) years.

  • Must be able to lift 75 lbs.

Security Field Engineer

The Electronic Security Technician will supervise, plan, and perform security system installations, service, maintenance, troubleshooting, and training. Security systems include access control systems, burglar alarm systems, CCTV, and other electronic and physical security systems.

Duties And Responsibilities

  • Must have knowledge and ability to Install and program Alarm (Intrusion), Access Control, and CCTV systems.

  • Provide clear and concise communication to project manager and customers.

  • Test, troubleshoot, and perform necessary corrections to security systems.

  • Knowledge in connector termination for related technology as required for all aspects of a security system installation and servicing.

  • Knowledge and ability in mechanical retrofitting of door frames and gates for electronic lock devices.

  • Knowledge and ability in programming and training onsite personnel in numerous Access Control, CCTV, and Alarm (Intrusion) systems.

  • Knowledge and practical experience with the internet and networking are essential.

  • Experience in IP cameras, IP access control, and computers is a must.

  • Must have the ability to recognize and provide immediate solutions for onsite changes in system integrations in the construction of buildings from start to closure.

  • Must be process-oriented, with good communication and organizational skills.

  • Must have an understanding of the construction process, timeline management, utilizing work packages, and budget tracking.

  • Must be able to read and understand drawings and equipment schematics.

  • Must be able to work independently and resolve problems to our customer’s satisfaction.
